We worked with Miribel, a small suburb in the east of France, to develop a new brand identity for their town’s tourism board. Miribel wanted something youthful and new to break away from their old style of a rural town, and describe their initial branding as dull and basic. We decided to incorporate a colourful identity with modern illustrations, encouraging people from the busy city life of Lyon to relocate and live in Miribel. Each colour is linked to a theme (green is associated with life and living, yellow for transport etc.). To complement and support their marketing efforts, we created cover art and illustrations for print (magazines, city maps, posters) and unique icons for their way-finding signage across all of their public buildings.
